About Hinds Paving
Three generations on Central Texas ground
Hinds Paving has laid asphalt and concrete out of Burnet since 1977. The business is family owned into its third generation, and it is woman owned and operated today.

A substrate problem before it is a surface one
Burnet County sits on the edge of the Llano Uplift, where granite and caliche run close under thin soil. A summer here swings from hard, dry ground to a flash flood inside a day, and that cycle opens cracks and works at the base under a driveway, road or lot long before it shows on the surface. A crew that has worked this ground since 1977 reads the base and the drainage first, not just the tape measure.
We are a family business, third generation, and woman owned and operated. Every estimate is free, on site and comes with no obligation, because base condition and drainage decide the job long before a price does.

Built for the ground it sits on
Granite and caliche do not hold water the way clay does, and thin soil over rock moves differently as it dries. We grade, compact and drain for that ground specifically, whether it is a residential driveway in Marble Falls or a commercial lot in Burnet. Base first, every time, across asphalt paving, asphalt repair and sealcoating, concrete driveways, sidewalks and curbs and parking lot installation and striping.
