Breakdown rolling
The pass that sets the density
Hot mix has a window. Roll it too early and it shoves, too late and it never reaches density and starts ravelling in a year. The breakdown pass is where a driveway is actually won or lost.
Burnet, Texas · Since 1977
Third-generation, woman-owned asphalt and concrete across Burnet County and the Hill Country. We read the ground first, because base and drainage settle a driveway's life long before anyone sees a finished surface.

How the work actually goes
None of them are the part you look at. Scroll through the sequence a crew works in.
Asphalt and concrete
Homes, businesses, retail centres and private roads, across Burnet County and the counties around it. Estimates are free and happen on site.

Asphalt
New driveways, private roads and lots, built up from a base that is cut, shaped and compacted before a single ton of hot mix arrives.
How we build it
Maintenance
Crack sealing, pothole repair and sealcoating. Water getting into a crack is what turns a patch job into a resurface.
How we build it
Concrete
Driveways, sidewalks and curbs. Subgrade prep, jointing and cure decide how concrete ages here, far more than the mix does.
How we build it
Commercial
Installation, resurfacing, and striping that actually reads at night. Fire lanes, ADA spots, arrows, speed bumps, tennis courts.
How we build itReading the ground
Burnet County sits on the edge of the Llano Uplift. Granite, caliche and thin soil over rock, worked by a climate that swings between months of hard dry and an afternoon that drops three inches. That cycle is what opens a crack, and once water is under the mat it takes the base with it.
So the estimate happens standing on the site. We look at where the water runs now, what the existing base is doing, and how the surface gets used. A number written without that is a guess, and a guess is how a drive ends up needing replacing at year eight instead of holding to twenty.
Family owned, woman owned
Asphalt and concrete out of Burnet since 1977. Same county, same limestone and caliche, same flash floods. That is a long time to learn what a surface does here after its first hot summer.
Getting a price
Tell us what needs doing and roughly how big it is. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Grade, drainage, the state of any existing base, and how the surface gets driven. This is the part that makes the number real.
What is included, what is not, and what we would do differently if the budget is tighter. Then it is your call, with nothing owed either way.
